Adweek has covered our acquisition of AMZ Advisers, an Amazon-focused consultancy, and Reach Social, a social commerce agency with deep TikTok Shop expertise. Terms were not disclosed, and both firms keep their existing brands.
The two businesses bring in-house the e-commerce work Chief Media had previously outsourced. AMZ Advisers has helped more than 500 brands sell over $1 billion on Amazon and also works with international retailers. Reach Social connects brands with creators and produces livestream and short-form content for TikTok Shop, which continues to grow as a sales channel.
“We’ll see a lift on Amazon when we’re running [a TV campaign],” CEO Scott Paternoster told Adweek. “Having reporting and access to client data that shows the lift once that starts running is really important to evaluate the full effect of a big national media campaign.”
AMZ Advisers acquired 50% of Reach Social last October; Chief Media has now acquired the remaining half. Together they give our clients connected measurement across the media we buy and the marketplaces where it converts.
